About Us

KET – Kentucky Educational Television

KET signed on the air in September 1968 as Kentucky’s statewide public broadcasting network. Today, KET is the largest PBS member network in America, delivering both the PBS national schedule and our own wide range of local arts, cultural, documentary, and public affairs productions throughout Kentucky and into surrounding states.

KET is also widely acknowledged as the premier producer of adult basic skills and workplace education programming, much of which is broadcast nationally on PBS and cable television stations. KET’s Enterprise Division distributes these and other outstanding instructional and professional development materials for GED® preparation, work readiness, ESL and life skills.

KET’s Enterprise Division publishes and distributes the KET Adult Learning newsletter which examines issues and innovations in adult education. You can sign up for our mailing list to receive this free newsletter via e-mail and we will also let you know about special offers and new products as they become available. You can download the newsletter or our catalog from this website in PDF format or call us at 800.354.9067 to request a print copy.

Our mission statement: As a profit center for KET, Enterprise will continue to lead the field in anticipating and meeting the instructional needs of the adult education community through innovative products that work, personalized customer service, and dynamic, creative marketing strategies.

KET has been helping teachers help learners since 1968 and we’re still at it. On air. Online. In print. How can we help you?
