Fast Forward Multimedia materials for 2014 test preparation

Curriculum designers, teachers, writers, editors, programmers, artists, and production crews are hard at work on the exciting new Fast Forward multimedia system to help learners prepare for college, careers, and the world beyond.

What's in the works?

Assessments are being upgraded to reflect more rigorous high school and college/career readiness standards. A new edition of the GED® test—the most extensive revision in the test’s 70-year history—will be introduced in January 2014. In addition, some states are recognizing new alternatives, such as the HiSET (High School Equivalency Test) from Educational Testing Service and McGraw-Hill’s TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion).

KET is developing the Fast Forward multiplatform learning system aligned to Common Core State Standards and College and Career Ready Standards, emphasizing skills required for post-secondary success. The initial release will be primarily based on the 2014 GED® Test assessment targets, with versions for other assessments to follow soon.
